This folder contains correspondence primarily from Robert P. Dow. A letter written in 1910 mentions a gathering between the Brooklyn Entomological Society, the New York Entomological Society, and the American Entomological Society (AES) in New Jersey to celebrate two separate occasions: Declaration Day and Independence Day. Dow also discusses work surrounding a compilation of letters written by other entomologists.
Hamilton Herbert Druce's 1905 letter to the AES noted several errors in the January issue such as the incorrect identification of two insects and their place of origin. Dow, Robert P.
