About
Description
A small pencil-sketch drawing depicting a bird with is wings out perched on a tree. This scrap was likely part of a border design for a drawing and its style bears resemblance to that utilized in Hawkins's pieces parodying Darwin's "Descent of Man" (see item 11 in this collection); however, its origin and purpose within the album are unconfirmed.
