Description
Lecture no. 5 on Mineralogy continues the description of the forms and structures of crystals. Later, Wagner describes various types and phenomenon of crystals including Hemitrope Crystals, Pseudomorphism, Isomorphism, before continuing the subject of crystalline structure, attraction, and crystallization. Wagner first delivered this course of lectures in the Fall of 1853. He continued to alter and add to the text until he stopped lecturing in 1884. Manuscript contains a few diagrams.
