Message No. 2—
"THE MODERN CITY NEEDS A MODERN Y. W. C. A,"
Williamsport is looked upon as a modern city, Dut — what about our Y. W. 0. A. building?
Yes, Williamsport has a big need for a modern, complete and adequately equipped Y. W. C. A. build¬ ing in which to house and develop its Girlhood.
Per weeks the Executive Committee and Managers of the building Campaign have been working and planning -- and now about three hundred enterpris¬ ing and enthusiastic men and women of Williamsport have pledged themselves as Team Captains and Team Workers to go among the citizenship of our city and vicinity, asking your support of this project.
The goal is f450,000.00 — a small sum to invest in human capital, and yet that is just what you are doing when you subscribe to the building fund for the Y. W. C. A. building to be erected on Fourth street.
Some one of these team workers will ask you for your subsci-iption. Think the matter over seriously. Your contribution will mean much toward the erection of a modern Y. W. C. A. building "for the home girls and the girls away from home."
Greet the solicitor with a smile, give him or her an opportunity to explain the real value and benefits of a modern Y. W. C. A. and then make your subscription as generous as possible, it will be appreciated.
CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE.
