Photograph of a large model of a medal , showing both sides of the medal , issued by Fondazione Carnegie , the Italian equivalent of the Carnegie Hero Fund Trust . The front side of the medal features a portrait of Andrew Carnegie surrounded by vignettes and the inscriptions "Fondazione Carnegie ". The reverse side of the medal shows two figures and a signature and number . The front and reverse sides of the medals are inserted into the front and back covers of what looks like an open book . Smaller copies of the front and reverse side of the medals are under each of their respective larger medals in the bottom centers of the decorative front and back covers of the book . On cardboard mount : 26 x 35 cm
