Description
A pair of photographs showing the reverse and front side of a centenary medal of the Banque de France , marking the 100th anniversary of the bank . The reverse side of the medal features seated and standing female figures surveying a landscape that includes a train , river , boats and a mill . The inscription along the top reads : "Confiance et travail ". Along the bottom is inscribed : "Mme . Andrew Carnegie ". The front side of the medal bears the inscription : "Centenaire de la Banque de France , 1800-1900 " and features a portrait of the Republic wearing a winged helmet . Caption title. ; "1 bronze medal , 1 silver medal. "; On cardboard mount : 26 x 34 cm
