Dear Mr. Franks,
The Pittsburg Institute has a deficiency.
Mr. Frew wrote to me in Scotland about it, suggesting that if interest were allowed on the Bonds from the first of the year instead of from the date they did bear,
it would put then right. I think his letter said about Sixty Thousand Dollars. If this is correct you can send him the Sixty Thousand Dollars in cash.
