My Dear Mr. Carnegie
Your telegram received and I am trying to arrange for a meeting in New York some day next week. Judge Buffington, on account of his engagement in Court, prefers Saturday, the 12th and if satisfactory to you and the others can agree on that date, you may expect to see us about 11o'clock. I will write you again, however, after I have communicated with the rest. I anm asking Judge Reed and Buffington, Mr. Guthrie and Mr. Macbeth, for ten years the Chairman of the Library Committee, to go.
Very truly yours,
W.N. Frew
Saturday 12th satisfactory hope you can come should be able to have copies of original gifts
