Description	An unsigned typescript letter presumably from Andrew Carnegie to Samuel Church written in response to Church's March 18th letter to Louise Carnegie. Carnegie notes that, due to plans to attend the annual meeting of the Oratorio Society in St. Louis, he and his wife will be unable to attend the upcoming Founder's Day celebration in Pittsburgh.

My dear Mr Church; Mrs Carnegie has your letter of March 18tht but decides it is impossible to be with you this year as we are going to St Louis the following week. This comes from hor majesty. Count on us next time. The annual meeting of the Oratorio Society is on 24th April and we have been specially requested to be present as it is the 25th year of my Presidency. Very truly yours,
