My dear Mr. Church,-
Yours of January 24th receivd# There has been some misunderstanding: the endowment fund of the Institute requires the Institute to provide a pension Fund . Tfoat I wish to know is what would be the extra cost of including the teachers of the Technical Schools in this Fund? I said in my letter to the Trustees that the Technical Schools would come under the Carnegie Foundation. In this I am mistaken; therefore, I wish to make that statement good .
I believe that the Trustees thought that Five Thousand Dollars a year was the proper amount to put aside to provide the pension fund for the Institute employees If so, how much a year added will cover the teachers of the Technical Schools on the same basis? This is what I wish to ascertain.
Vary truly yours,
S. H. Church, Esq ., Union station,
Pittsburg, Pa.
