Trenton, N. J., May 15.—Succeeding a battle in the state courts for flf'teen years, a Jury in the United States circuit court here has just given a verdict for the plaintiff In the suit of Thomas B. Bechtold and others against Joseph A. Mlntach for possession of valuable property In the heart of Riverside. . Boston, May 15.—Eric B. H. Mackay, an Englishman retiring in Cambridge, yesterday afternoon shot and seriously, though not fatally, bounded Ernst E. Holbrook, a clerk employed In the laboratory of the .United Drug company In Roxbury. The cause of the shooting is not clear. This is the first time that competent help has been found by the trucking companies, and the undergraduates are deriving a good deal of fun out of driving the heavy trucks about the city.
