Tlie Sewickley Y.M.C.A. will tomorrow evening pass the first important milestone of its 45th year of sorvico to boys and girls of the community, as it launches the annual current-expense campaign for tho year 1938. Guided by an executive, committee consisting of J. Jndson Brooks II, W. D. Livingston, Henry Chalfant, Jr., Mrs. Daniel E. Davis, Mrs. George C. Hutchinson, Mrs. Roy Rose, Calvin Wells and George R, Young, approximately 125 men and women will attend the Opening Mooting and Dinner of solicitors, at tho Y.M.C.A, at 6:30, to receive their assignments and begin tho canvass. With the record of a balanced budget, an increasing membership, and a reduced dobt over throe successive years, tho volunteer workers confidently anticipate a favorable response from the many friends of tho Association. Duo to tho enlarged membership which tho Association is now sorving, and to other accompanying costs, a total of $15,180 must this year be raised from contributions. The large use which tho main Association building has had during its years of service now makes imperative certain repairs and replacements similar to the improvements made during the past year in the Annex building by a generous friend. It is hoped that a number of special subscriptions may be. received for a rehabilitation fund', in that way safeguarding the capital investment in. the. Association property.
