For more on the organization, see Page 17. zoning changes at former hotel by Bobby Cherry STAFF WRITER Developers of the former Country Inn property want zoning variances they’ve been granted to become law. According to borough documents, Peter Friday and Cody Mueller of MCM Ventures Ltd. want to construct 14 single-family homes along the Thorn Street portion of the 3-acre property at 801 Ohio River Blvd. The developers plan to use the remaining property for commercial real estate and construct office buildings along the Route 65 portion. Developers received variance approvals for substandard rear and front yards and for lot coverage, allowing them to maintain parking lot coverage from the property’s previous use as a hotel.
