Sewickley police arrested the teen Jan. 24 after receiving an anonymous tip giving an exact description of the suspect. On Jan. 23, the Sewickley resident walked through a hack door into Bruegger’s Bagel Bakery at 422 Beaver St, after 7 p.m. and demanded cash, the police report read. That however, isn’t what Town Center Associates, hired by the borough to assist in redeveloping Sewickley, discovered. During the holiday season, officials from Town Center conducted six parking counts, according to Mark Peluso, the group’s executive director. Of the 500 public spaces —• on-street parking or on property owned by the borough — up to 168 spaces were available. On private property — parking spaces owned by businesses — up to 226 spots were open.
