A. S. Tweed, Esq.,
Secretary, Board of Library trustees,
bewickley, penna.
Jjear Mr. Tweed;
Carrying out the provisions of the action
tsken by the Board at the January meeting, Mr. Robinson
and I have had a meeting with Miss Lauman, Librarian,
and agreed upon a method of taking care of the books
he is to leave to us which is entirely satisfactory to
him. I have made a memorandum of the plan agreed upon
which also includes the four conditions which he has
fixed to the gift, and which we have fully accepted.
Will you please see that this memorandum is
presented to the Board for approval at their next meeting and fully recorded in the Minutes.
With our original action and this supplementary
action I think the Board has done everything it possibly
can to secure keeping the books in the way Mr. Robinson
desired.
