Some time Sago,- on petition of divers citizens and tsx payers ef tbe township ouster proceedings ware begum in ths courts of Blair county. These proceedings are as yet undetermined Testimony will bs tsken at a later date in support of tbs contention ot tbs petitioners th st ths supervisors ars guilty of neglect of duty. Monday another step wss taken whioh It may become necessary for ths supervisors to explain. At tbe close of the fiscal year, tbe accounts of the supervisors, their clerk aod treasurer were presented to tba board of township auditors. A report purporting to show tbs receipts snd expenditures of the township was made op, a copy being pieced oa file in tba office of ths clerk of the-common plaas court at Hollidaysburg, another being printed in Tbe Bellwood Bulletin. Bat two of tbs auditors concurred in ths report. J. Emerson Wilson, ths senior auditor and secretary of the board of auditors, would not sign ths report, hot instead bas prepared exceptions to tbs report and bas placed tha satue on record with .the clerk f ot tbe courts at Hollidnyaborg. Tbe cry .has always been that tbe Sunday schools have located teachers. To be'p supply the necessary equipmeut'for tbe proper teaching of the Bible in tbe school, the teachers bavs been given several courses by tbe State Sunday School convention aa well as tbe various boards of the church denominations. For several yeara tbis work has been taken in band by the different churches of our community, with varyingsucceaa. It has been thought wise at this point, however, to vary tbe proceedings and give, perhapp, more advantages along extended courses in teacher training. The school for teachers will be held for the coming year, at the Baptist church on Monday evenings. Those Monday evenings in which suoh as tbs revival season, tbe teachers or prospective teachers, cannot come at 7.80 tbe school will be held for one hour beginning 4,15,theschool meeting for it's first session tbe first Monday in the month of January.
