HALL Ready To Take Over School If Court Ac¬ tion Proves Fav¬ orable The action of the Nazareth Hall alumni in taking steps to rehabili¬ tate Naiareth Hail in the event of a court decision in the case of Charles Kreider against tbe Beitel Home trustees, fusorable to <iuch action, bas met with general fa¬ vor among Nazareth townspeople and business men. Tlie old HaU ha<j been looked upon as a decided asHtit to the town in years past and the closing uf tbe school is viewed with general regret. The presence of the numerou:! students here was regarded us an asset in several way.s. The boys carried the name of Xazareth to many points in the country and served to spread knowledge of this district, they brought additional business to the town throughout the year and the school events at closing time brought many strang¬ ers with their business to town. The school itself brought conaid- erable revenue to the ti>wn through ItH business, purchases of all foodstuffs and supplies being made here. The faculty members and fhf-ir families made their homes here, some residing here for yearn were an asset not only through their husiness but by their pre¬ sence in the community. The statement by M. L. Wilson. an alumnus, that the Orphanage provided under the will of the lata John Beitel might be located in accordance with his wishes and Nazareth Hall atiil remain as an historic seat nf learning this giv¬ ing Kazareth. two Institutions in¬ stead of one. is regarded aa a very pertinent remark In the statement of the case. There Is room for two institutions here and NazarsMi would welcome them, especially if one were to be Nazareth Hall. All interest is now focused on the local courts and the decision which will make following presentation of the testimony in the Krelder- Beltel Home trustee's case. Should that decision refuse the petition ot the Beitel trustees to purchase the Hall it will be regarded an auspici¬ ous omen for Nazareth and Naza reth Hall.
