On Thursday afternoon the remains of Mrs. Phebe Hensler, of Harmonville, were interred in the Upper Dublin Brethren cemetery, east of Ambler. A short service was held at the house, the home of her neice, Mrs. Annie Ra¬ mey. The chief services were conduc¬ ted in Upper Dublin Brethren church. The deceased was 81 years of age. Death resulted on June 30 at Mrs. son made the second hand out when he was retired after his hard drive was captured by Josephs. Hall has been re-elected plumbing inspector for another year. Raymond Lukens who resigned as building inspector because, he alleged, council did not support him in his requirements of builder.s, resigned a month ago, but council has re-elected him and he will be supported in en¬ forcing the building ordinances. The firemen are still endeavoring to secure a better flre alarm, but are handicapped for lack of funds. They seem to favor a gasoline siren. The big truck of Breycr's ice cream factory, in turning Main annd Walnut streets on Saturday, ran into a Chev¬ rolet auto driven by a stranger, 'inhere is considerable complaint about fast driving at this point, and a number of accidents have occurred there. Eugene Nuss lias sold his cigar and confectionery at Main and Walnut streets to Hiram Hendricks, who will take possession in a few weeks. Town council and the trolley com¬ pany have adjusted their differences, and the latter will, on July 13th, com¬ mence to move its tracks to the middle of the streets to the present grades on Washington avenue and on Main street from that point on the avenue to the South Main street borough line and pave the tracks and IS Inches each side, the same .as the council Is doing on the remainder of the streets.
