ounce avoirdupois of powdered opium with equal parts of alcohol and water the knglisli article contains 10 grains less of opium in the fluid ounce and the dutchman's lau danum is the west india passion rlowei or fruit opium is a stimulant narcotic poison which may produce hallueina fiions profound sleep or death an opium joint is a low resort of opium bookers opium is the inspissated juice
