After the reading of tho minutes ofj ^^^^^, p^,i .sand heap of the meeting, held February 9th, therei £-,j^i,nl,.y tinii- nightl was general discussion regartling the' equipment of the conipany. Chief Frank Weber stated that the practice now followed by the conipany in con¬ veying part of the eiiuipment to a tire is very unsatisfactory, and he said a box wagon can be bought at a very little cost and lilted up to carry lad- ^ ders, hooks, axes, chemieal tanks and a number of sections of hose. It wa.s decided to lake this matter up at later meetings, the members recognizing that the procuring of a wagon of the kind .suggested by the chief, will add greatly to the elhcieni-y of the com¬ pany. The chief also presented a list of ap¬ pointments which comprised names of the menibers appointed as nozzlemen, hosemen, hook and ladder men, chemical crew and salvage corps The list a.s presented was approved and the secretary was Instructed to post a copy of the same in the lire house. Charle.s Hank and Robert Yarnell, Jr., were elected to membership. The delinciuent committee reported that It had done no work, as It had not received the list iToin the secre¬ tary. The secretary was instructed to prepare a list as soon as possible and forward the same to the com¬ mittee. The treasurer, Samuel Yeakle, re¬ ported a balance on hand of $11.98.
