Tells Cambridge Springs People Obstacles Have Been Overcome That the trolley line extension to connect TitusviUe with Cambridge Springs, MeadviUe and Erie is a very Uv* project, with good prospects of th* connecting link being laid this summer, is Indicated by the statements to Cambridge Springs papers of Manager W. J. Smith of the Titusville electric Traction company last Saturday. Both of the Cambridge Springs papers have articles upon the subject, that of the News being as follows I "W. J. Smith manager of tbe lines of the TitusvUle Traction company, was in town! Saturday and is expected tei return today. He stated to friends whtte here that he is quits sure that the trolley extension to Cambridge Springs from TitusviUe. WiU be built perhaps this summer. He said there had been many difficulties in the way since the project was first formulated, and these had been met and overcome one by on*> until now there seems to be practically a clear field. . "Construction work on thid connection was begun last fall from the Tryonville end and. carried through to a point opposite Townville, bringing the tracks within about twelve miles of Cambridge Springs. Mr. Smith is confident that the work will be continued and the extension completed. He believes that the line will not only be profitable as a local transportation affair but will be a valuable feeder to the TitusvUle and Cambridge Springs lines. He expects to see a large volume of through business from Titusville and the oU section generally to MeadvUle and Erie. The route is about fifteen m Ues shorter between Titus- his aged mother, and he is expec ed to spend several days there. He said that he would return to Warren, but it Would not be surprising if he never went back to that ctty. Tne belief prevails that he will settle on tbe other side otthe continent. Tells Cambridge Springs People
Obstacles Have Been
Overcome
That the trolley line extension
to connect TitusviUe with Cambridge Springs, MeadviUe and
Erie is a very Uv* project, with
good prospects of th* connecting
link being laid this summer, is Indicated by the statements to Cambridge Springs papers of Manager
W. J. Smith of the Titusville electric Traction company last Saturday.
Both of the Cambridge Springs
papers have articles upon the subject, that of the News being as
follows I
"W. J. Smith manager of tbe
lines of the TitusvUle Traction
company, was in town! Saturday
and is expected tei return today.
He stated to friends whtte here
that he is quits sure that the
trolley extension to Cambridge
Springs from TitusviUe. WiU be
built perhaps this summer. He
said there had been many difficulties in the way since the project
was first formulated, and these
had been met and overcome one
by on*> until now there seems to
be practically a clear field. .
"Construction work on thid connection was begun last fall from
the Tryonville end and. carried
through to a point opposite Townville, bringing the tracks within
about twelve miles of Cambridge
Springs. Mr. Smith is confident
that the work will be continued
and the extension completed. He
believes that the line will not only
be profitable as a local transportation affair but will be a valuable
feeder to the TitusvUle and Cambridge Springs lines. He expects
to see a large volume of through
business from Titusville and the
oU section generally to MeadvUle
and Erie. The route is about fifteen m Ues shorter between Titus-

and this gives rise to the belief
that the matter had been settled in

Mr. Smith of the traction company has been indefatigable in his
