Jackpot'',, will be h e ld ' S aturday, May 27, at 7:30 p .m . at th e Farmers National Bank parking lot. Anyone over 16 years of age is eligible to participate by signing up at anyone of the 35 participating merchants’ places of business listed below. Drawings will be held for for the next twelve weeks with seven chances each week to win $10 merchandise certificates. There will also be a $30 cash drawing each week. While it is not necessary to be present to win the merchandise certificates, the winner of the cash drawing must be present or the money goes b ack into the jackpot to be added to the following weeks' drawing. At the end of the 12 weeks, a grand prize—a 1967 Dodge Dart—will be going to some lucky winner! Each registration slip filled out during the i 2- week contest will be held for the car drawing, but to participate in each of the weekly drawings it will be necessary to re-register each week. Organizations participating in the’ parade should report at the sta rting point promptly at the time mentioned. Following the service, the parade will re-form and march back to the starting point on Warwick street. Both bands will .participate in this second parade including the Warwick High School band, which in previous years disbanded afte r th e service. The meeting is delayed one night because Tuesday, the regular meeting date, is Memorial Day. A complaint had been received from a resident who has a parking meter in front of his home and who asked for a permit to park free. Council will discuss the problem, with the thought that what is done for one must be done for all. highlight of th e annual F o u rth
of July celebration in the park,
and proceeds th e lighting of
the candles around 9:30 p. in.
The trousands of candles in
the stream are lighted from

queen’s taper.

direct the pageant and be in
charge of all sound effects.
