Large Number of Cases Disposed of Before Judges Halsey and Wheaton. Another session of Argument Court was held yesterday, Judges Halsey and Wheaton presiding. A large number of eases on the certiorari and Common Pleas lists were disposed of. The police are investigating some of the women who worked In Burdlck's factory. New York, March 7.—Dressed in c suit of mau'B clothing that fitted her to perfection, a handsome young girl bluffed the whole garrison nt Fort Totteu, AVillets Point, on Monday for a day and a night, enlisting as a private and making a host of friends before her secret was revealed by the arrival of a man who claimed her as his daughter. She was whisked out of the barracks and taken home before any one except the commandant of the post knew what an unusual recruit had been lost. The police feel confident that they will have some tangible result after their eight days' work. The woman who is now detained is not the one heretofore mentioned in connection with the case. The party were being ferried across the Hudson river when one of the guy ropes w.iich guided the boat broke, knocking one man overboard. She was whisked out of the barracks and taken home before any one except the commandant of the post knew what an unusual recruit had been lost.
