Caracas, Venezuela, Feb. 21.—The revolution organized by General Matos during the course of the blockade of tbe Venezuelan coast by the allied warships began active operations a week ago, and three armies were formed. One, under the command of Antonio Fernandez, numbering 1,800 men, has been routed near Calabozo, in the province of Miranda, 120 miles southwest of Caracas, and its chief is now fleeing in the direction of the river Apure. Dun & Co.'s weekly review of trade, the railroad situation has became further complicated by the worst snowstorm of the season, nnd the movement of merchandise was again Interrupted. Front street and Susquehanna avenue, was murdered by robbers some time last nlglit. The body was thrown into the cellar, where It was found early this morning. There is no clue to the murderers. Dawson, an instructor in Cornell faculty, and the other Max Itothkugel, a student, of Schlesien, Austria. Four students were sent to their homes with symptoms of some Illness, and fifty others left town. One denth occurred, that of a child in the city. The university authorities will immediately establish on the campus pure water depots. Y., Feb. 21.—Ten new cases of typhoid fever are reported, of which eight are among citizens of Ithaca, one that of K. Four students were sent to their homes with symptoms of some Illness, and fifty others left town. One denth occurred, that of a child in the city. The university authorities will immediately establish on the campus pure water depots.
