He termed him a would-be educator and said that if a strike breaker was a hero, then Benedict Arnold was a patriot and Judas Iscariot a saint. Despite the fact that the itinerary had not been published In advance crowds were waiting at almost all the stations, and there were plenty of cheers as the train swept by. At Trimway, a small place west of Dennlson, the school children lined up on either aide of a large American flag and waved their handkerchiefs. The president stepped on the rear platform und waved his hat In response to the demonstration of the little ones. At other places he showed himself, and at Dennlson he made a few remarks to the crowd. Washington, Nov. 13.—Fair and colder tonight; Friday, fair. Copies of the testimony that was given before the special board of Inquiry in the case of the eleven children who were brought here to be shipped to Mrs. Tingley to become "lotus buds" and who are to be deported are to be forwarded to San Francisco. Rome, Nov. 13.—The statement sent out from Florence that United States Ambassador Meyer, while riding in u motor car near Pertola, had run down and fatally Injured a child und that consequently the ambassador had been arrested Is entirely erroneous. The connection of Mr. Meyer's name with the accident urose from a case of mistaken identity. Neither the ambassador nor Mrs. Meyer has been absent from Rome. No further details of the accident have been received here, and it is not believed that any Americans are involved iu the occurrence. Ambassador Meyer Not Arrested. Despite the fact that the itinerary had not been published In advance crowds were waiting at almost all the stations, and there were plenty of cheers as the train swept by. At Trimway, a small place west of Dennlson, the school children lined up on either aide of a large American flag and waved their handkerchiefs. The president stepped on the rear platform und waved his hat In response to the demonstration of the little ones. The connection of Mr. Meyer's name with the accident urose from a case of mistaken identity. Neither the ambassador nor Mrs. Meyer has been absent from Rome.
