He found corroboration of that, and lie is now of the opinion that Dlsbrow was in the second boat and that lie put out in pursuit of the one containiug Foster and the girl with whom both men were in love. He stated that he liad boarded with Sinnick and on the day of the killing went into tile mine with Sinnick to look for work. He denied absolutely that he had conspired with Zorambo to either rob or kill Sianick and alleged that he left the mine at 4 o'clock and went home. Sinnick had not returned at 8 o'clock and his wife became alarmed and witness and John Sinnick went to search for him. On cross'examination, he became very much tangled up and in response to the shrewd questioning of District Attorney Jones made some damaging ad missions. He admitted that though he had gone Into the mine to look for work, he had spent considerable time in an abandoned chamber with Zoram bo. This is the company that includes the Crescent shipyards of Elizabeth, N. J., ol' which Lewis Nixon is the head. The company was expected to be incorporated with an authorized capital of $20,000,00(1, but the papers lllcd last night iix the capital at $3,000. This amount or course can be increased, and in fact the Incorporation of the company for a very small amount is the policy that was followed by the United States Steel corporation and other big concerns whiclt subsequently increased their capital to many millions. Main Coroner Nugent lins announced that he will yield to public sentiment and that the body of Clarence Foster will be exhumed and that the careful examination which was neglected last week will be nuide. The coroner also admitted that an otttline of Disbrow's story had placed in Ills possession. He said that he had talked by telephone with the father of Disbrow, who had promised to produce his son here today. Later wol-d was received here that Mr. Dlsbrow had decided not to keep his promise to the coroner. When this news reached Mr. Nugent, he announced that he would nt once issue a warrant for the urrest of Louis Dlsbrow.Evans Bros. June 18.—General von Hock und rollach, commanding a division of the German army, has been seriously slashed by the lances of his own dragoons. The general's accident was a singular one. During the exercises yesterday the troops of General von Bock und Pollach's command were charging across the field at Tilsit, in 1'russla, when the bugle suddenly sounded "About face!" The general was Immediately In tlie rear of the line of charging troopers, and after they turned he was caught among the lances and was wounded. Johnson, vice president of the Classen Heal Estate company and who served through the Cuban campaign with tlie rough riders, Was shot and killed here by W. T. Mc.Mlchael as a result of a contest over a land claim. Before he died Johnson shot and fatally wounded McMlcbael. E. E. Brown, editor of the Times-Journal, one of the oldest newspaper men in the territory, tired five shots at McMlcliael lu defense of Johnson, but none took effect. Brown and McMlcbael were arrested. There was talk of lynching McMlcliael until It was learned his wound was fatal. The line the men are now working on will run from West Wyoniiug to Centremoreland, where a long distance exchange will be located. From that point it will reach out in several directions and embrace terri tory as far south as Dallas and north as Tunkhannock. From thf latter place conections can be made with Towanda. Athens, Sayre. Waverly, and ill fact all of the towns that lie along the line of the Lehigh Valley railroad and the small country towns contiguous to the ones mentioned. His other investigations convinced him that a second boat was on Tiana bay the night Foster and his companion lost their lives. He found corroboration of that, and lie is now of the opinion that Dlsbrow was in the second boat and that lie put out in pursuit of the one containiug Foster and the girl with whom both men were in love. He denied absolutely that he had conspired with Zorambo to either rob or kill Sianick and alleged that he left the mine at 4 o'clock and went home. Sinnick had not returned at 8 o'clock and his wife became alarmed and witness and John Sinnick went to search for him. On cross'examination, he became very much tangled up and in response to the shrewd questioning of District Attorney Jones made some damaging ad missions. He admitted that though he had gone Into the mine to look for work, he had spent considerable time in an abandoned chamber with Zoram bo. Mc.Mlchael as a result of a contest over a land claim. Before he died Johnson shot and fatally wounded McMlcbael. E. E. Brown, editor of the Times-Journal, one of the oldest newspaper men in the territory, tired five shots at McMlcliael lu defense of Johnson, but none took effect. Brown and McMlcbael were arrested.
