Thorough Mi Wichita, Knn., Dec. 22.—It is reported here that Frank Rockefeller is negotiating for the purchase of 140,000 acres of land in Kiowa and Clarff counties with a view to stocking it with horses nnd high grade cattle, sheep and hogs, especially horses, for which he sees a profitable future. The land is along Soldier creek, the fastest running water in the state and which is fed by a great many springs, numbers of them artesian.
