His record comprises over 400 balloon ascensions and thirty-two parachute" jumps, of varying wonder and danger, which makes Mm a worthy brother of Wise and Donaldson. Last year he exhibited for a week with his parachute at Far Rockaway beach and today was to have made a jump at Ottawa, Can. He was a medium sised man, weighing 170 pounds and possessed of remarkable nerve and pluck. He never drunk, and was a man who always kept his word, so his managers say.
