Colorado Springs, Colo., Oct. 10.— Fire destroyed the Norris house, in the village of Manitou, at the foot of Pike's Peak, early this morning. The Barker house, adjoining, was threats ened, and only the most strenuous work on the part of the firemen resulted in saving the property. The guests in both hotels were thrown into a panic and many of them had to be carried from the buildings. Nobody was killed or injured. The financial loss is about $45,000.
