One is given to fall hats and fall waists and the other to fall coats for ladies and children. In the side windows are rugs and heavier coats, the latter suitable for winter as well as fall wear. Entering the store from the front, the eye is at once attracted by the decorative effects of leaves and palms, which are placed everywhere. A few feet from the door in the center of the floor a long table is located containing embroideries, chiffon veiling, fall hats, Dresden ribbons and fine umbrellas. In the dry goods department fall fabrics are displayed, the latest shades of brown dress goods having a prominent place. It was practically, a transformation, the entire store being brightened by garlands of autumn leaves in their fall livery. The front display windows are finished in wrhite with autumn leaf effects.
