Collision on Brooklyn Rapid Transit, New York, Sept. 16.—A rear-end collision occurred on the Brooklyn Rapid Transit Co.'s '.ine this morning and several were injured. Both trains were crowded. One of the interesting features ol Judge Parker's day was his talk with former Senator David B. Hill, which has been connected with a call by the senator on District Attorney Jerome. In relation to the latter conference it has been published that Mr. J1111 tendered the governorship nomination to Mr. Jerome. That story is denied, and information from a reliable source is to the effect that Mr. Jerome was offered any place ou the state ticket except the nomination for governor, which would mean that the lieutenant governorship nomination or that for attorney general has been placed within his grasp if he wants either of them.
