Yesterday afternoon, about 2.30 o'clock, he left the colliery on his customary trip and about 20 minutes later word came back :hat he had been killed. It seems that on the way_ to the station the boy boarded a mine locomotive that draws cars between a tunnel and the Langcllftc colliery. He-was standing on the rear end of the locomotive, which was running backward, and when he attempted to alight while the train was Having he slipped and fell under the wheels, which passed over his neck almost severing the head.
