Afterwards he signed the final papeis certifying that His Holiness was dead. A great deal of excitement was created in Browntown last evening by the arrest Of 11 foreigners in that place. The cause of the arrest was resisting an officer of the law, and it took live constables to land them successfiflly in the office of Alderman Barrett. A warrant was Issued before 'Squire Monk, of Yatesville, yesterday afternoon, against one of the foreign residents of Browntown, and when a constable went to serve the warrant he found a number of the friends of the man gathered, who prevented his ar-. rest by not allowing the officer to take the man. The officer desisted for the time, but immediately telephoned to Alderman Barrett for some constables to assist him. The alderman immediately hunted up five of the wardens of the law, who hastened to the scene of the conflict and commenced to gather In the law-deflers. This was found no easy task, for only about half of them could be found readily. However, a diligent search found two of them under a bed and two in an outhouse, and Anally all of the 11, including the man for whom the original warrant was issued, were taken before the alderman, who placed the costs on them. All settled and were allowed to depart, except the man who was the cause of the tiouble. He was taken before 'Squire Monk and furnished bail for a further hearing tonight. Watch This Space Cardinal Oreglia, in the capacity of Cardinal Camdengo, of the Holy See, viewed the remains of the late pontiff at 9.45 this morning and found the fac6 greatly shrunken even since yesterday.
