'Although no landscaping was shown on the plans, Prack said - the lot would be'iplanted and they- would attempt-' to' screen the vehicle loading: area behind the building from .public view jqn Division Street: He said that while Postal Service regulations call for, a chain-link security fence , to enclose the delivery jeeps and trucks; this could have slats put in it: and that landscaping could be put in front of it. Several windows were broken, doors and cabinets were jimmied open. Sewickley Police learned of the break-in from a janitor at the school who had reported for work at 7 a.m. that morning. Entry was apparently through a broken window in the cafeteria on the Bank Street side of the building.. Police said doors in the cafeteria’s pantry and on the freezers had been pried open, apparently with a crow bar. A small strong box was taken, but it was not known whether, it contained moneyor not. The door to the principal’s office was also pried open, and papers were strewn about the room. Six classrooms were entered by breaking Windows in the doors. Tampering done to meters Sewickley Police have asked residents to keep a watch out for anyone seen tampering with borough parking meters. Police reported Monday that 100 meters along Thorn, Locust, Blackburn and Walnut Streets were without money when borough crews made their normal collections, Locks on two of the meters Ore missing, Anyone seeing someone tampering with a meter is asked to call Sewickley POlicedt 741-4111. Heights sets special meeting Sewickley Heights Borough Planning Com* mission will hold a special meeting at 4 p.m, on Friday, April 11 at the borough building on Country Club. Road, The commission will consider a sub-division plan submitted by Mrs. Mary Purvis of hef property located on Merriman Road in the borough.
