Crackdown cm all-day parking Sewickley parkers who are abusing the meter system will soon be paying more than fifty cents a day according to Sewickley Police Chief Walter J. Brannon. Brannon said his officers have been ordered to issue additional tickets to overtime parkers along Sewickley streets and in the borough’s two parking lots. Brannon told members of the Sewickley Board of Trade at a luncheon meeting last Friday that his officers are aware of those who constantly ignore fifty cent tickets. The chief said Monday that his men will be cracking down on automobiles abandoned along Sewickley streets. He also warned that is unlawful for homeowners to place chairs or other obstructions to preserve a parking space in front of their own homes.
