The show Will be held at the Sewickley High School Auditorium at 8:15 p. m. The show has every variety in the book and you entertainment fans can’t miss this gala two-night show being produced by Norman Rupert and his field of entertainers from Sewickley, Coraopolis and Leetsdale. The show features six local comedians of the Yellowjackets as end men, who will .keep you in laughs throughout the show and probably rollin’ into the aisles. The end men are Joe “Sambo” Tucci; Rocco “Sonny” Tucci; Norman “Bosco” Rupert; Floyd “Lucious” Russo; Basil “Bones” Villella, and Lou "Honeyboy” Vescio. The interlocuter is the young, dapper Tom Sokol, The variety show is packed with- many different acts from Sewickley talent in dancers Dorothy Wilson, June Eppley, Marlin and Marlene Saylor, the Merriman Sisters, who are seasoned acrobats. Joann Sweeney sings; Joseph Calderone plays the accordion; Freddy Dominick features his cowboy songs, and H. B, Winne swings his Indian clubs. Andy Koval sings with the lust that Will keep the weaker sex in a turmoil. Also in die variety acts are a group of fine dancers that will appear through die courtesy of the Nancy Lee Kontz dancing school from Coraopolis. This group includes Betty Sedlock, Vivian Spangler, Barbara Story, Bobby Braden, Elaine Ehle, Saundra Adams, and Geraldine Jannessa will feature comedy, hula, baton, fast and slow dancing numbers. Rated as one of the best impersonators for his age, Ronnie Mattioli, young Coraopolis entertainer, will be a featured artist in his famed.impersonations of Ted Lewis and A1 Jolson. Litde eight year old Marjorie Esau from Leetsdale will perforin from a step-ladder platform doing many intricate types of acrobatics. This will be the first time this number has ever been staged. High school graduate, Former editor 1919-21, Served as justice of the peace four years, Director, Allegheny Valley Hospital; Vice-presi- (Conlhiued on page 5) $1,000 STOLEN Alimena House Burglarized A thousand dollars in cash was stolen from the home of Albert “Butch” Alimena, 100 Dippold Street, sometime between 8:30 p, m. and li:20 p. m., on Saturday. $300 of tire amount belonged to Mr. Alimena; $500 to Albert Massi and $200 to ‘Sonny’ Alimena, otherwise known as Albert Alimena, Jr. Entrance was gained through the rear dinihg room window by someone using a % inch jimmy bar and the house was thoroughly ransacked. Drawers were pulled out and their contents dumped helter-skelter on the floors. Papers and clothing were also scattered by die thief or thieves in the search for valuables. In fact, such a mess was made of everything that a complete list of the articles missing from the house has not yet been drawn up and presented to police. Tlie house is the last on Dippold Street, and. stands at the top of die slope leading to the Pennsylvania Railroad tracks. No one was home at the time, and, in fact, most of the men residing in diat vicinity were away trout fishin’ over the week-end. Hospital Rummage Sale The annual Spring rummage sale held by the Woman’s Auxiliary of the Sewickley* Vallej' Hospital, will be held on Thursday, May 13th, beginning at 9:30 a. m., at the Ritchey Garage, 335 Chestnut Street. The proceeds of this sale and other benefits, enable the Auxiliary to buy many useful pieces of equipment for die hospital. Those wishing to donate ardcles for die sale may leave them at Mrs. Scaife’s home on Linden Place. Heads Local Campaign Mrs. Oliver McClintic is chairman of the Sewickley workers for the Allegheny General Hospital financial campaign conducted by the Woman’s Auxiliary. The drive, to be held all tiiis month, is to raise funds for the social service department. New Auto Dealer William E. Bailey, formerly of Sewickley, and Leo Gusky, who is also well known in die Valley, have formed a new auto dealership.
