Park entries in the previous two Sewiekley Dog Shows yl ■**\A;': ♦fel > 4 ■■!'•.. ..-.• '."* ■J;..;' r "■■■■mm«wc_ <,, iijnilW Sewickley iDog SI)ow tomorrow THE third annual Dog Show of the Sewickley Kennel Club 1 will take place at the Allegheny Country Club horse show ring tomorrow (Saturday) from ten to six o clock, tor tire benefit of the Women's Auxiliary of the Allegheny Geneial Hospital. A large list of entries in the many classes ensure an exhibition, of great interest to experts, as well as to all ot us who just love dogs for their own sake. The judging will commence at 10:30 a. m. The show is held under the American Kennel Club rules, and awards made will be recognised by that organization. , „, . T ^ The officers of the Sewickley Kennel Club are: d. a. Byers, president, and Mrs. Christian I. Shannon, secretary- treasurer; E. M. Joel of Carnegie is Show Secretary, and b. al. Simpson of Sewickley superintendent. The Bench Show committee includes Jack Quig, chairman, W. A. McElravy ana Thomas Hosking. Officers of the Women's Auxiliary of the Hospital are Mrs. W. C. Robinson, president; Mrs. U i. Shannon, treasurer, and Mrs. Georgo L. Collard, secretary. Judges for the show will be A. Albright, Jr., of Newark, JN. d.; Louis Walter, of Pittsburgh; B. T. Adair of Pittsburgh; H. H. Waleamp of Dcnnison, Ohio; and Prank H. Addyman of Ards- ley, N. Y. Dr. Charles W. Boyd of Sewickley is chief veterinarian, assisted by Dr. S. E. Young of Pittsburgh. Some splendid dogs will be shown, many of them from noted kennels loeated at a distance as well as from the many fine ones near Sewickley and Pittsburgh. There is one priced at $10,000—J. Harkness EdAvards' Great Dane, "Gunar von Hollergarten;" Charles Moran's "Ch. Moran's Ohio Boy," a Boston terrier, is priced at $5,000; and there are a number of others wearing labels varying from $1,000 down to a mere $100, Dachshunds, foxhounds, greyhounds, wolfhounds, collies, Newfoundlands, Doberman Pinsehers, shepherds, St. Bernards, all are there. Terriers, Airedale, Bedlington, bull, cairn, smooth and wire fox, Irish, Manchester, Schnauzer, Scottish and Sealy- ham are represented. Then there are Chihuahuas, Brussels griffons, Pekingese, Pomeranians, Boston terriers galore, bulldogs, chow chows and Dalmatians. When you see the Sewiekley sIioav, you've seen about as fine a representative exhibition as one often comes across. And you can't help but love some of them! ..' '.A a' "■ ••'*:.
