Osborne School ©raduahorc Osborne "pupils in JfVont of tl>e School Ttmrnn) Seven members of the eighth grade class of the Osborne Public School will graduate at the commencement exercises next Monday evening at 7:45 o'clock in the auditorium of the school. Nancy Merrill, aged 12, won high honors with a grade of 97i per cent and Betty Marks and William Jadden tied for second honors. Tho program will be opened by a chorus of seventh and eighth 'grade pupils, who 'will sing "Hard-A-Leel" by Hosiier, "The Development of Transportation" will be the subject of the address by William Burr Jadden and it will bo followed by a piano solo, "Tho Will 0' The Wisp," by Rodgers, played by Betty Marks. Tho Valedictory, "Thomas Jefferson's Contribution to American Wei- faro," will be given by Nancy Merrill and Richard Frederick will read the Class Prophecy. Dr. 0. D. Odell of the Sewickley Presbyterian Church will deliver tho Commencement address, and F. F. Mcintosh, president of the Osborne Sehool Board will present tho diplomas. The chorus will sing, "The Song of tho Melon Patch," by Arthur Targett and tho program will close with tho presentation of perfcet attendance certificates by Margaret Greig. The awards will be presented to Nancy Morrill, Edith Trapp, Margaret Greig, William Merrill, Florence Beelcr, Billy Barger, Dick Groig, Oharles Hamilton, Maxino Doty, Mary Alison Merrill and Philip Borg. Mrs. Bubb, teacher of tho seventh and eighth grades, has planned tho program, which will be carried out by the students. The members of tlie eighth grade who will graduate are: Nancy Merrill, Betty Marks, William Jadden, William Merrill, William Patterson, Margaret Greig and Richard Frederick. Sehool will closo Wednesday, June 10th, for tlio 'summer vacation.
