Wo shall have as guests on this occasion tho Commissioners of Allegheny County, a representative of tho Stato government, tho burgesses and presidents of council of the near-by boroughs and townships, and tho too departments of many neighboring communities. ,. Tho guests will bo focoived at tlio Sowickley borough building at two o'clock, and thoro will bo a parado starting vory soon after that hour, a scries of short toots on tho firo-sircn marking its beginning. Hoadcd by tho Amorican Legion Drum and Bugio Corps, following tho polico escort, there will bo an oscort consisting of J-no Colonial Guard," a company of boys uniformed in costumes which will bo nsod also on Monday evening as part of the George Washington Hallowe'en pageant; these boys will assemble in tho grade school playground near Chestnut Street. The official cars bearing tho guest officials will follow, moving down Chestnut Street to tlio Ohio Eivor Boulevard. A, H. Diehl is in chargo of tho parade arrangements. R, D. Ritchey, chairman of tho council committee, has appointed a reception committee to moot the guests at tho borough building, consisting of .T. 0. Chaplin, Stanloy Q. Fowler, W. W. Cunningham, 0. S. Richardson, A. H. Diehl, D. E. Novin, Frank A. Hegner, T. B, Sweeney and Mrs. Margaret Morgan, Tho next division, including trucks and cars roprcsonting Sowickloy Valley businoss firms, and privato automobiles, will form on tho Boulevard (reaching it by way of Graham Street or Boundary Stroet) heading toward Chestnut, lining up on the south sido of the. Boulevard; visiting Are companies will also form on that part of the Boulevard on the north side, also heading toward Chestnut. Both divisions will join tho parado as it passes .from Chestnut Street westward on tho now portion of the Boulevard, past tho speakers' stand to Walnut Street. Tho parado will then movo up Walnut Street to Beaver, to Peebles, to Thorn, to Broad, and down Broad Stroet to the post office, whoro the ribbon will be cut and the parade will enter the now improvement, passing down Broad Street to the. bridge or to Kramer Place, or diverging down Biver Avenuo, as may bo most convenient for each division. Then thero will bo a brief ceremony on the stand facing the Boulevard, consisting of a short talk by James C. Chaplin, president of Sowickley borough council, who will be introduced by Frank A. Hegner, president of tho Board of Trade; Mr. Chaplin will in turn introduce the county commissioners and othor honor guests. Col. Charles C. McGovorn, chairman of the commissioners, will formally turn over tho improvement to Sowickley, and Burgess O. S. Bichardson will respond. That is tho program as planned; it may bo modified somewhat, according to circumstaneos. Polico arrangements havo been made, however, so that all will bo directed properly. Parking will bo forbidden on Broad Stroet from Thorn to Bank, so as not to block tho parado; parking will be permitted on Bank Street both oast and west of Broad Stroet, facing toward Broad, and at othor convenient points in tho neighborhood, oxcopt on tho now Boulo- vard near the speakers' stand.
