Attending this entertainment is an easy and pleasant ,way of contributing toward the aid of our own community's people, as many have declared their desire to do; and it will also give the contributor far more than his money's worth, an evening of pure fun and enjoyment. First comes the one-act comedy, "A Case of Suspension," a rapid succession of laughable and surprising dramatio situations—the scene is in a young ladies' seminary—with fantastic plots and counter-plots working out to the happy denouement, In this play appear Jean Powell, Margaret Cameron, Alice Hamilton, Mary Ann Value, Charles Roth, George Kroepil, Neal Clay, Edmund Trapp, Robert Evans and Sarah Mitchell. Then the curtain rises on the "Smoketown Minstrels," with Fred Roth and Andy Scott as Interlocutors, and six of the best young endmenyou ever saw—James Lightfoot, Lawrence Moore, Julian Harris, Herbert Mossett, Lewis Harris and Leonard Moore. Others in the troupe are Marie and Betty Wolfe, Norma Uplioff, Mary Allebach, Mary Alice Low, Agnes Lorlmer, Harriet Burkholder, Helen McCready, Florence and Marjorie Pearce; George Vincent, Jack Thornton and Billy Pearce, as the Harmonica Trio; and Fred Mossett, tap-dancer. The performance is replete with catchy music, pretty dancing, and witty crossfire. Assistant Principal Russell Hayes is the director. Every year the Kiwanis Club has been making a donation to the work of the Union Aid Society and the sponsoring of this entertainment is the club's contribution this year. But they also feel that Sewickley people generally -will be grateful to the club for giving them this opportunity not to miss this extremely entertaining show. mk
