DINKELL OF DINKELL PICKLES, INC." Who may buy radio time and save the station! (Photo by Diehl) i .._ iiiiiiiip) "X5i)(t Worlds' all 5\isbl" I On Thursday and Friday nights, March 22 and 23, tho Sewickloy Kiwanis Club will stage "The World's All Bight," with a cast of over 150 local people at the high school auditorium. The scene of the show is laid in a broadcasting station and tho radio announcor, "Jimmy Waddell," is played by W. J. Fitzgerald. His secretary and sweetheart, Jane Bogers, is played by Edna Clay. Theso two are trying to keep the radio station from going broke. Bill collectors haunt them and talent walks out on them; nevertheless, they are determined to put over a big program in order to sell time on tho air to Mr. Dinkell of Dinkoll Pickles, Inc. Mr. A. H. Diehl plays the part of Mr. Dinkoll and Bobert Bitchey acts as bill colloctor. Joo, the office boy, is played by Aleck McDonald. He and Iris Mocklin as Gertie Green of Now Orleans, put on an act over the air that saves tho radio station and enables everyone to really bolieve "Tho World's All Eight." Tho first big chorus of tho show is tho Sunshine Chorus composed of thirty high school members. Among thoso aro Elizabeth Dickson, Joan Burkholder, Selena Holthaus, Mary Kato McMaster, Harriot Burkholder, Mary Bichmond, Erna Schlectner, Katherine Leathen, Lois Gregg, Buth StofEol, Boscmary Newman, Lois Wright, Irma Stoinort, Dorothy Cook. Two danco choruses appear in special costumes doing their routines to "Whistlo and Blow Your Blues Away" and "You're in Style When You're Wearing a Smile." These girls are Louise Trudoll, Mary Boyd, Suzanne Drynan, Joan Williams, Jean Emmert, Anna Kedar, Margaret Mcllwain, Patty Gormly, Lucilo Miller, Wanda Hite, Buth Bulkloy, Ethel Wachter, Bhoda Lyon, Alice Millor, Katherine Lethan, and Nollio Littlecott, The studio quartette composed of Messrs. Fleming, Fowler, Hayes and Young givo a special arrangomont of quartette songs that prove a popular number on tho program. No radio broadcast would be complete without featuring tho Hill-Billies in thoir old-timo mountain songs and dances. Tho characters of Si Perkins and Hiram Zilch are portrayed by Thos. W. Neely and John Houston. Dr. Charles W. Boyd and Balph Whito act as mountain maids and "Pop" Haley and Steve Pyevac as mountaineers in an old time square dance, musie for which is furnished by Thomas W. Neely, Sr., as tho old-timo fiddler, Dan Tucker, Bill Cook as banjo player and Casey Jones, accompanying on tho harmonica. The pantomiming of an old-time melodrama, "Frankio and Johnnie," is carried out by E. E. Cooper as Franlde, Byron Harriger as Johnnie, Austin Hurd as Smoky Joo and Harry Hamilton as Nellie Bly, while Hiram sings the song. Othor members of the sceno aro Georgo H.
