WILLIAMS Director of the Sewickley Community Chorus which will present its first concert next Tuesday evening at Sewickley High School. ____D This is "International Goodwill Day" all over the world—May 18th—when men, women and children try to realize their common brotherhood, to understand each other bettor and thereby forestall the senseless disputes that so often have led to needless wars. Children everywhere aro taking part in it; a radio message of goodwill is to bo exchanged between the children of Wales and thoso of this country, and in many schools special exercises and observances of tho day aro to be held. In Sewickley the public school is to give a play, "America First," this afternoon; Osborno school will havo a pageant and exhibition of project work. Edgoworth School will stage a play, "Thc Molting Pot;" Miss Chickering's school will present an operottaand exhibit correspondence with foreign children which has been part of tho geography studios this year. Tho Academy, tho Sowickley high school, tho parochial schools in Sewickley and Glenfield, will also observe the day in appropriate way. The junior boys of the Y. M. C. A. as a feature of tho Good Will Day program, have completed the construction of a little red school house as part of a project that has occupied their time for the past several days. Their project illustrates children at play around an American school and represents children of all nations taking part in America's great educational system. The theme of tho project is more clearly illustrated by tho child's creed, "We aro the children of all nations and aro all the children of One God. May our learning lead us towards world peace, good will towards all, and the Brotherhood of Man." The movement is a good one, sure to mean some advance in the better understanding that should come from "Education in thc Ways of Peace."
