C. A. Opens Membership Enrollment Period Tonight Tonight (Friday, tlio 25th) at 6:15 m tlio "Y" building is tho "kick-off." of tlio Annual Enrollment of old and now members. Fifty loyal and enthusiastic workers will bo "talking YMCA" to hundreds of pooplo in the Valley between now and Tuesday evening, October 6th. With a record from last year that went 70 per cent beyond tlio year beforo tho toams will bo challenged to tho utmost to oxeced tho 1035 achievement. In their favor aro tlio largo number of workors who have Imd successful exporionco in campaigning and tho gonorally improved position of young pooplo. The six captains aro the best loader! that this or any other Association could provide—and several of last year's leading captains aro sorving in tho ranks this year for tho greater succoBS of tho ■whole, drive. Miss Dorothy Nash, Miss Marjorie Wright, J. M. Snodgrass, Bob Eitehey, Eobort Klcindionst and Jack Brand will set a fast paco as '' drivers" in tho auto race from the Pacific Coast to Sowickloy. A Buick, Dodge, Nash, Chevrolet, Ford and Chrysler team will compote in this cross-country event, and tlio local dealers of these cars have promised to furnish their active support and to give a chicken dinner to their team in case it wins the race. E. M. Borgcr is General Chairman and Eev. J. G. AVilliama is campaign director. A special exhibit in tho "Y" lobby will mark tho progress of the different "cars" until October (5th. Friday afternoon a parade of the ears will drive through Sowickloy. For tho dinner tonight the speaker is Mr. Homer Andrews, formerly of tho Life Underwriters' Association of Pittsburgh, and an old friend of the, "V." Tho assistance of all friends of the "Y" in tho Valley is asked in securing the names and addresses of young people who should bo interested in tlio Association but aro not now members. If you have been a member of the "Y" and have thought a little, of coming back this winter, now is the time, for special advantages aro offered during Enrollment Week, Enrollment days arc specially set aside for visitors. If you have doubts about what tho "Y" has to offer you, wo recommend that you make it a visit this week and see for yourself. To thoso having complaints or suggestions for improvement of service wc ask that thoso bo sent to Genornl Secretary Donald B. Atwcll to be considered now at tho beginning of tlio year.
