QVCornell football deal could end by BOBBY CHERRY As it stands now, the Cornell-Quaker Valley football cooperative agreement will end after this season. A statewide move to six football classifications next year could jeopardize the co-op, athletic directors from the two schools said this week. The four-year-old agreement to allow Cornell High School football players to suit up for Quaker Valley was terminated Monday by WPIAL board members — a move initiated by Quaker Valley as leaders there wait to see how enrollment numbers could affect the school's classification, athletic director Mike Mastroianni said. "We might have to move up to 4-A," he said.
