NewQV chief: 'key ingredients are here' Ondek stepping into top spot after decade with school district by BOBBY CHERRY Heidi Ondek began her career with Quaker Valley School District 10 years ago as high school principal. On July l, Ondek. the district's assistant superintendent for the last eight years, will begin a new position with Quaker Valley School board members last week unanimously approved hiring Ondek, 51, as the district's fifth superintendent. She'll replace Joseph Clapper, who in January announced his plans to retire. Clapper will transition out of the district by fall.
