Duquesne Light holding off on utility line work by bobby Cherry STAFF WRITER Edgeworth officials got the news they were hoping to hear last week. Duquesne Light officials have agreed to hold off on the company’s proposed distribution line project until both parties and the Public Utility Commission can weigh in on the plan. “We’re going to work with the PUC, and I assure you and Edgeworth Borough that once we hear from the PUC, we will reengage in discussions with you,” said Duquesne Light official Frederick Eichenmiller. “We will not do anything on this project until we sit down with you.” In the spring, Duquesne Light officials proposed installing a 23-kilovolt distribution line along the residential side of Route 65 through Edgeworth.
