Thirteen years ago, he was able to walk away from an accident 6n Ohio River Boulevard near Edgeworth. Four others in that accident burned to their deaths. Personal experiences, near-misses and tragedies were voiced as more than 200 persons gathered at the Ben Avon ^Middle School last Friday night in the wake of the latest vehicular fatalities on Route 65. Lamont and Lionel Mills weren’t so lucky. Their car,- being driven by their another in the early; morning hours of Aug. 30, was struck neat Laurel Avenue on the boulevard. Both children, ages 10 and 14, were killed at the scene of the accident. > The driver of the other vehicle, 27-year-old David Voshall of Avalon, was charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter, two counts of homicide by vehicle,. two counts of homicide by vehicle while driving under the influence, driving under the influence, reckless driving and driving too fast for conditions. Both his preliminary hearing on the motor vehicle charges and a coronet’s inquest scheduled' for ---------------—“Continued on Page '19
