Council drops appeal against development By Kristina Ser afini STAFF WRITER Sewickley Borough council will no longer fight a judge’s decision concerning the property at the corner of Beaver and Peebles streets. To the dismay of many attendees at the borough’s regular meeting earlier this week, council voted 4-3 in favor of reconsidering and dropping their appeal. Two council members were absent. In doing so, the decision of Allegheny County Com- ’ mon Pleas Judge Joseph James will stand.
