PNC .was robbed again last Wednesday, Jidyl9,ontheheels of a robbeiy that occurred the previous week. Bill Eiler, a spokespersonfor Integra Bank, said the Sewick-ley branch is not taking anynew precautions to prevent a rob-! bery. • 'Nothing special has been added to odr security program, but we are very current in our procedures,” Eiler said. "Each month,werequireupdatesfrom our branches on how their systems are working andhow they can be improved. We are very aware how important top-level security at banks is.” Tilda Walsh, speaking for Mellon, indicated that although the bank has a guard stationed atthe branch InSewickley, he is there indefinitely. According to police reports, Giallorenzo arrived at the bank alone in a cab and attempted to rob it again. Be approached a teller with a shoebox and demanded it be filled. The teller, however, called for help, sending Giallorenzo on a rush for the door. Barbara McMann - a housewife, mother and nurse as well as a customer at the bank -intervened, throwing him to the ground. The lack of municipalities attending meetings about the group also concerns council. Onlyfiveefthellmunitipali-tiesmQuskerValleySchoolBis-tricthave attendedmeetings on the proposed group. With such a ek of participation, council lack thinks funding for the board could be a big hea dache , Quaker Valley Recreation Board was formed this year to maintain athletic fields in Quaker Valley School District. The board distributed copies of its by laws to keal municipalities for review. They are to be returned with comments and suggestions by Aug. M.
