A Camp Meeting Road resident has filed a complaint for not receiving assistance from the engineer back in January.
' Dr. M. R. Patel claims the Lest Township Board of Commissioners is responsible for maintaining a 12-inch pipe on his property that collapsed,
“I’ve had problems with it the past two years," he said. “Significant damage took place in January/ when the catch basin overran, broke glass and flooded 3 feet of water in the basement. ”
Patel’shome was built on a former golf course. He said the 12-inch pipe had heen installed in 1988 or 1989,

Commissioner Paid Ferderbar explained .why Leet has not started any digging.
“The bottom line is that no one can show the township accepted or refused responsibility,” he said. “The engineer visited the property and filed a report with the insurance company. We’re waiting for their conclusion.”
Ferderbar said the engineer recommended the pipeline be cleaned out as a good-will gesture.
“The work was done in March, and it hasn’t flooded since,” he said, “Technically, there’s no problem,”
Patel said he will now consult his attorney.
